About the Role

Are you interested in taxation, compliance, and financial regulations? We are looking for a Tax Intern to assist with tax preparation, filings, and research on tax laws. This internship is ideal for students and recent graduates eager to develop practical skills in tax compliance, financial analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Research federal, state, and local tax regulations to ensure compliance
• Support tax audits and financial documentation preparation
• Help identify tax-saving opportunities and deductions
• Maintain and update tax records, reports, and filings
• Analyze financial statements to ensure tax accuracy
• Assist in sales tax, payroll tax, and corporate tax calculations

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of tax laws, tax preparation, and financial regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and tax software (TurboTax, Lacerte, Drake, etc.)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential financial information
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Experience with tax preparation software and ERP systems
• Knowledge of corporate taxation, international tax laws, and tax planning
• Prior experience in tax audits, compliance, or financial consulting
