About the Role

Are you passionate about financial markets, M&A transactions, and investment strategies? We are looking for an Investment Banking Intern to assist in financial modeling, market research, and deal structuring. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in investment analysis, capital markets, and corporate finance while working alongside experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and industry analysis to identify investment opportunities
• Assist in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence
• Support the preparation of pitch decks, investor presentations, and financial reports
• Analyze mergers & acquisitions (M&A), leveraged buyouts (LBO), and IPO transactions
• Work with financial statements such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows
• Assist in deal structuring and risk assessment for investment opportunities
• Collaborate with senior analysts on financial projections and competitive analysis

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Basic understanding of financial modeling, valuation methods, and investment banking principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Experience with financial modeling tools (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, etc.)
• Knowledge of discounted cash flow (DCF), comparable company analysis (CCA), and precedent transactions
• Familiarity with M&A, private equity, and corporate finance concepts
• Experience in equity research, portfolio management, or investment analysis
