About the Role

Are you passionate about Natural Language Processing (NLP) and eager to work on real-world AI applications? We are looking for an NLP Intern to develop and optimize language models for text analysis, sentiment classification, chatbot development, and more. This internship provides hands-on experience in NLP techniques, deep learning, and AI-driven language processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with text preprocessing techniques (tokenization, stemming, lemmatization, stopword removal)
• Develop and optimize NLP models using spaCy, NLTK, Hugging Face Transformers, or OpenAI GPT
• Implement text classification, named entity recognition (NER), and sentiment analysis models
• Train and fine-tune pre-trained language models (BERT, GPT, T5, etc.)
• Work with word embeddings and vectorization techniques (Word2Vec, GloVe, FastText)
• Build chatbots and conversational AI models using NLP frameworks
• Deploy NLP models using Flask, FastAPI, or cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in NLP, Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with NLP libraries (spaCy, NLTK, gensim, Hugging Face Transformers, etc.)
• Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras)
• Basic understanding of linguistics, syntax, and semantic analysis
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Experience with large language models (LLMs) and fine-tuning BERT/GPT models
• Knowledge of speech recognition and text-to-speech models
• Familiarity with MLOps and cloud-based AI deployment
• Hands-on experience with real-time NLP applications (chatbots, text summarization, etc.)
• Previous internship or project experience in NLP
