About the Role
Are you interested in the integration of mechanical, electrical, and computer systems? We are looking for a Mechatronics Intern to assist in developing and optimizing automation systems, robotics, and smart devices. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to work with mechanical design, embedded systems, and control engineering, providing valuable industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and developing mechatronic systems, including automation and robotics
- Work with microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or ESP32) for control applications
- Develop and test mechanical components using CAD software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Fusion 360
- Implement control algorithms and signal processing techniques for motion control
- Conduct sensor integration, system testing, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with the team on IoT, AI-driven automation, or industrial robotics projects
- Document test results, system architecture, and performance improvements
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, electronics, and embedded programming
- Familiarity with programming languages like Python, C++, or MATLAB for control systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)
- Experience with robotics, industrial automation, or AI-powered systems
- Knowledge of PLC programming, motor control, or PID tuning
- Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) for robotics applications
- Previous internship or project experience in mechatronics, automation, or robotics
