About the Role
Are you passionate about mechanical design, manufacturing, and engineering analysis? We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to assist in product development, CAD modeling, simulations, and mechanical system analysis. This is a great opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain real-world engineering experience and work on exciting projects in the mechanical and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and prototyping mechanical components and systems
- Work with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or Fusion 360) for 3D modeling
- Perform stress analysis, fluid dynamics simulations, and thermal analysis
- Support in manufacturing process planning and material selection
- Conduct research on emerging mechanical technologies and industry trends
- Collaborate with the team on product development, testing, and performance optimization
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and engineering drawings
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Basic knowledge of CAD software for 3D modeling and design
- Familiarity with mechanical systems, thermodynamics, and structural analysis
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes like CNC machining, 3D printing, or injection molding
- Familiarity with mechanical simulations using ANSYS, Abaqus, or MATLAB
- Previous internship or project experience in mechanical design or engineering research
