About the Role

Are you passionate about containerization and orchestration? We are looking for a Kubernetes & Docker Intern to work on containerized applications, Kubernetes clusters, and cloud-native deployment strategies. This internship provides hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with Docker to create, manage, and optimize containerized applications
• Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters (K8s)
• Assist in scaling, monitoring, and securing Kubernetes workloads
• Implement Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests for automated deployments
• Configure and manage Kubernetes networking, storage, and security policies
• Automate container orchestration using CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD
• Monitor cluster performance using Prometheus, Grafana, or Kubernetes Dashboard

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, DevOps, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals
• Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, and container networking
• Understanding of microservices, load balancing, and cloud-native applications
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Experience with Kubernetes in cloud platforms (AWS EKS, Azure AKS, Google GKE)
• Knowledge of Docker Compose, Kubernetes Operators, and Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, or Kubernetes RBAC
• Familiarity with Kubernetes security best practices and monitoring tools
• Certifications like CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or Docker Certified Associate are a plus
