Computer Vision Intern – Remote Internship

About the Role

Are you passionate about computer vision and AI-driven image processing? We are looking for a Computer Vision Intern to work on cutting-edge projects involving image recognition, object detection, and video analysis. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in deep learning-based vision models and real-world AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize computer vision models using OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Work on image classification, object detection, and segmentation tasks
• Implement deep learning architectures like CNNs, YOLO, Faster R-CNN, and U-Net
• Process and analyze images and videos using advanced AI techniques
• Perform data augmentation, feature extraction, and model fine-tuning
• Deploy models using Flask, FastAPI, or cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
• Collaborate with the team to improve model accuracy and efficiency

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Vision, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with computer vision libraries (OpenCV, PIL, Scikit-Image, etc.)
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch)
• Understanding of image processing techniques, feature extraction, and convolutional neural networks (CNNs)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Experience with pre-trained models (YOLO, ResNet, MobileNet, EfficientNet, etc.)
• Knowledge of Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) and image synthesis
• Familiarity with edge AI and real-time computer vision applications
• Hands-on experience with big data frameworks and cloud-based AI solutions
• Previous internship or project experience in computer vision
