About the Role

Are you passionate about cloud security and cybersecurity best practices? We are looking for a Cloud Security Intern to help enhance and secure cloud infrastructure across platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. This internship provides hands-on experience in cloud security monitoring, compliance, risk assessment, and vulnerability management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in securing cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Monitor and analyze cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents
• Implement IAM roles, policies, and least privilege access controls
• Work with encryption, firewalls, and security groups to safeguard cloud environments
• Conduct security audits and risk assessments for cloud resources
• Automate security policies using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Bicep
• Research and apply best practices for cloud security compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.)

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Cloud Computing, IT, or a related field
• Basic understanding of cloud security principles and best practices
• Familiarity with IAM, firewalls, and encryption techniques
• Knowledge of network security, penetration testing, and vulnerability management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, AWS GuardDuty, Azure Sentinel, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and compliance standards
• Knowledge of incident response, threat detection, and SOC operations
• Experience with Kubernetes security, container security (Docker, EKS, AKS, GKE)
• Cloud security certifications (AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer) are a plus
