About the Role
Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in structural design, construction planning, and civil engineering analysis? We are looking for a Civil Engineering Intern to assist in infrastructure projects, CAD modeling, site planning, and environmental impact assessments. This is a great opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain real-world experience and develop industry-relevant skills in civil and construction engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing and analyzing civil structures such as buildings, bridges, and roads
- Work with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D) for drafting and modeling
- Conduct structural analysis, load calculations, and material selection
- Support in construction project planning, scheduling, and cost estimation
- Perform environmental impact assessments and geotechnical studies
- Collaborate with the team on infrastructure projects and site inspections
- Prepare technical reports, blueprints, and engineering documentation
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Basic knowledge of structural engineering, construction materials, and surveying techniques
- Familiarity with CAD software for civil design and drafting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools like Revit
- Knowledge of structural analysis software (STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, ETABS)
- Understanding of transportation engineering and urban planning
- Previous internship or project experience in civil or structural engineering
