About the Role

Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in accounting and financial management? We are seeking an Accounting Intern to assist in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and data analysis. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining financial records, ledgers, and journal entries
• Support accounts payable and receivable processing
• Help with reconciling bank statements and financial transactions
• Prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and income statements
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards
• Conduct research and suggest improvements for financial reporting and analysis

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and bookkeeping
• Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Tally
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and attention to detail

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Experience with taxation, audit procedures, or financial analysis
• Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, or other accounting standards
• Familiarity with payroll processing and financial compliance
• Previous internship or project experience in accounting or finance
