About the Role

Are you passionate about structural design, analysis, and construction engineering? We are looking for a Structural Engineering Intern to assist in designing and analyzing buildings, bridges, and other structures. This is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain practical experience in structural engineering, CAD modeling, and material analysis while working on real-world projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and analyzing structural components using engineering principles
• Work with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, or Civil 3D) for drafting and modeling
• Perform structural analysis, load calculations, and stability assessments
• Support in material selection, construction methods, and reinforcement detailing
• Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) using software like STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or ETABS
• Collaborate with the team on infrastructure projects, building designs, and foundation analysis
• Prepare technical reports, structural drawings, and engineering documentation

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of structural engineering principles, load calculations, and material science
• Familiarity with CAD software for structural design and drafting
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and time-management skills

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools like Revit or Tekla
• Knowledge of seismic analysis, wind load calculations, and geotechnical engineering
• Familiarity with structural software like SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or SAFE
• Previous internship or project experience in structural design or construction engineering
