About the Role
Are you passionate about the intersection of engineering, healthcare, and technology? We are looking for a Biomedical Engineering Intern to work on projects related to medical devices, bioinformatics, healthcare technology, and biomedical research. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in biomedical innovation, product development, and healthcare solutions while collaborating with industry experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, testing, and analyzing medical devices and healthcare technologies
- Conduct biomedical research and data analysis to support innovation in healthcare
- Work with biomaterials, medical imaging, and bioinstrumentation projects
- Collaborate on software and hardware integration for biomedical applications
- Support regulatory compliance and documentation for FDA, ISO, or CE standards
- Conduct literature reviews on emerging trends in biomedical engineering
- Participate in team discussions, research initiatives, and product development
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of medical devices, human physiology, and healthcare technology
- Knowledge of biomechanics, bioelectronics, or medical imaging systems
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on projects
Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)
- Experience with 3D modeling (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for medical devices
- Familiarity with biomedical signal processing and data analysis (MATLAB, Python, or R)
- Knowledge of biomechanics, biosensors, and bioinformatics
- Understanding of FDA/ISO regulatory requirements for medical devices
- Previous research or project experience in biomedical technology and healthcare solutions
