About the Role
Are you passionate about embedded systems, microcontrollers, and real-time computing? We are looking for an Embedded Systems Intern to assist in the design, development, and testing of embedded solutions. This internship provides a great opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in firmware development, circuit design, and embedded software programming while working with industry experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and testing embedded system applications
- Work with microcontrollers and processors (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, STM32, etc.)
- Develop firmware using C, C++, or Python for embedded devices
- Design and implement sensor-based applications and real-time systems
- Assist in hardware-software integration and debugging
- Research and suggest improvements for low-power and high-performance embedded solutions
- Work with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, etc.)
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded programming, and circuit design
- Experience with programming languages like C, C++, or Python
- Understanding of embedded operating systems, RTOS, and real-time applications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)
- Experience with embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, or Zephyr
- Hands-on experience with PCB design and circuit prototyping
- Familiarity with IoT-based embedded systems and edge computing
- Understanding of power management techniques for embedded devices
