About the Role

Are you interested in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks in business and finance? We are looking for a Risk Management Intern to assist in analyzing financial, operational, and cybersecurity risks. This internship is ideal for students and recent graduates eager to gain practical experience in risk assessment, compliance, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and analyzing financial, operational, and security risks
• Conduct risk assessments to evaluate business vulnerabilities
• Research regulatory compliance requirements and industry best practices
• Support the development of risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
• Help monitor and assess key risk indicators (KRIs) and performance metrics
• Prepare reports on risk exposure and recommendations for management
• Collaborate with teams to ensure risk policies and procedures are followed

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Business, Risk Management, Economics, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of risk assessment techniques and financial modeling
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret financial statements and risk data
• Familiarity with compliance regulations and risk management frameworks (ISO 31000, COSO, Basel, etc.)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Experience with risk management software or data analysis tools
• Knowledge of cybersecurity risks and data protection strategies
• Understanding of market risks, credit risks, and operational risks
• Prior internship or project experience in risk analysis, auditing, or compliance
