About the Role
Are you interested in search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing strategies? We are looking for an SEO Intern to help optimize website content, conduct keyword research, and improve search rankings. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in technical SEO, on-page and off-page SEO, and analytics while working with industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis using Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush
- Optimize website content for SEO best practices, including meta tags, headings, and internal linking
- Assist in on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search rankings
- Monitor and analyze website traffic using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
- Help create and optimize content for blogs, landing pages, and product descriptions
- Assist in link-building outreach and guest posting opportunities
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and best practices
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and keyword research tools
- Understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment
Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)
- Experience using SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or Screaming Frog
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website structure for SEO
- Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems (CMS)
- Knowledge of local SEO, schema markup, and Google My Business optimization
