About the Role
Are you passionate about Agile methodologies, servant leadership, and team collaboration? We are looking for a Scrum Master Intern to assist in facilitating Agile processes, improving team productivity, and ensuring successful project delivery. This internship provides hands-on experience in Scrum, Kanban, sprint planning, and stakeholder communication while working with real-world Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Assist Agile teams in following Scrum and Kanban best practices
- Remove impediments and blockers to improve team efficiency
- Track team progress, sprint velocity, and burndown charts
- Maintain and update Agile boards in JIRA, Trello, Asana, or Monday.com
- Coach team members on Agile principles and self-organization
- Foster collaboration between developers, product owners, and stakeholders
- Ensure continuous improvement through feedback loops and process optimization
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
- Familiarity with Agile project management tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment
Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)
- Prior experience in Agile environments or project management
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Certifications like Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI-ACP are a plus
- Knowledge of SAFe, Lean, or DevOps practices
