CI/CD Intern – Remote Internship

About the Role

Are you interested in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)? We are looking for a CI/CD Intern to assist in automating software development workflows, optimizing deployment pipelines, and working with DevOps tools to improve software delivery processes. This internship provides hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and cloud-based deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes for applications
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized application deployments
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Collaborate with developers to optimize deployment strategies
• Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures and performance issues
• Work with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for cloud-native deployments

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, DevOps, Cloud Computing, or a related field
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automation tools
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting languages (Bash, Python, or PowerShell)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Knowledge of software development workflows and agile methodologies

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline
• Knowledge of Kubernetes deployments and Helm charts
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack)
• Understanding of security best practices in CI/CD pipelines
• Certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or GitHub Actions Expert are a plus
