Google Cloud Intern – Remote Internship

About the Role

Are you interested in cloud computing and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)? We are looking for a Google Cloud Intern to assist in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud solutions on GCP. This internship provides hands-on experience with GCP services, automation, and cloud security, preparing you for a career in cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring and managing GCP cloud infrastructure
• Work with Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and networking services
• Automate cloud resource provisioning using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or GCP APIs
• Monitor and optimize costs, security, and performance of cloud resources
• Implement IAM roles, policies, and cloud security best practices
• Work with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions, and serverless computing
• Collaborate with teams on CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and cloud automation

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, IT, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Google Cloud services (Compute Engine, Storage, IAM, etc.)
• Familiarity with Linux, networking, and shell scripting
• Understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud CLI, SDKs, or APIs
• Knowledge of Terraform, Deployment Manager, or Kubernetes (GKE)
• Experience with Cloud Logging, Monitoring, and Stackdriver
• Familiarity with BigQuery, Dataflow, or Pub/Sub
• GCP certification (Google Cloud Associate or Professional certifications) is a plus
