Azure Cloud Intern – Remote Internship

About the Role

Are you eager to gain hands-on experience in cloud computing with Microsoft Azure? We are looking for an Azure Cloud Intern to assist in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud solutions. This internship provides exposure to Azure services, automation, security, and cloud infrastructure, helping you build a solid foundation in cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring and managing Azure cloud infrastructure
• Work with Azure Virtual Machines (VMs), Storage, Networking, and Databases
• Automate cloud resource provisioning using Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Terraform, or Bicep
• Monitor and optimize cost, security, and performance of Azure resources
• Implement Azure Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies and security best practices
• Work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and serverless computing
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, IT, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking, IAM, etc.)
• Familiarity with Linux, Windows Server, and networking concepts
• Understanding of cloud security and compliance best practices
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Hands-on experience with Azure CLI, PowerShell, or Azure SDKs
• Knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or Prometheus
• Azure certification (Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator Associate) is a plus
