AWS Cloud Intern – Remote Internship

About the Role

Are you passionate about cloud computing and AWS services? We are looking for an AWS Cloud Intern to gain hands-on experience in cloud architecture, deployment, and management. This internship will provide practical exposure to AWS infrastructure, automation, and cloud security, helping you build a strong foundation in cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and managing AWS cloud infrastructure
• Work with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and other AWS services
• Automate cloud deployments using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
• Monitor and optimize cost, performance, and security of cloud resources
• Implement IAM roles, policies, and security best practices
• Work on serverless computing, containerization (ECS, EKS), and networking (VPC, Route 53)
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams on cloud-based solutions

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Cloud Computing, IT, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, etc.)
• Familiarity with Linux, networking, and shell scripting
• Understanding of cloud security and best practices
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Hands-on experience with AWS CLI, SDKs, and APIs
• Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, or Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Jenkins, or Ansible
• AWS certification (AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect Associate) is a plus
