Embedded Systems Intern – Remote Internship

About the Role

Are you passionate about embedded systems and looking for hands-on experience in hardware and software development? We are looking for an Embedded Systems Intern to work on real-world projects involving microcontrollers, IoT devices, and firmware development. This is a great opportunity for students and recent graduates to gain practical experience in embedded systems engineering while collaborating with industry professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems applications
• Work with microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or STM32
• Develop and debug firmware using C, C++, or Python
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication modules (UART, SPI, I2C, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi)
• Optimize embedded software for performance, power consumption, and real-time processing
• Troubleshoot and debug hardware and software issues
• Document designs, test procedures, and development processes

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded programming
• Familiarity with C/C++ and Python for embedded systems
• Understanding of digital circuits, communication protocols, and embedded OS (RTOS)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and documentation skills

Preferred Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Experience with hardware debugging tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
• Knowledge of IoT development and wireless communication (LoRa, MQTT, Zigbee)
• Familiarity with PCB design using tools like KiCad or Eagle
• Understanding of power management and low-power embedded systems
• Previous internship or project experience in embedded systems
